A new place

¡Hola, amigo! I am in Chile, an awesome place. I live here in chile, in fact. I was born in Chile. My mother was. So was father. So was Jessie, my best friend but also my sister. I have decided now that i am 21, i am going to see the U.S. I am going to take Jessie, i would miss her too much if i don't. I have learned enough english, but people say half of the people there speak spanish. English is a hard language. Not to people who know English. I tell mother and father, and decide to leave the next day. Jessie and i pack that night. The next morning, we drive to the airport and board the plane. At 8 p.m., we are in Washington, and it is vary cold here. I do not think i needed to bring my swimsuit."Malory!" Jessie calls when we get off the plane. "¡Espera!" "Espera" means wait in spanish. I wait in the airport. I speak to Jessie in English, just to practice. "Let's get a taxi and go to our hotel," I say. "Si," Jessie says. A taxi picks us up and drives us to our hotel. "So, where do you come from?' the taxi driver asks. "Oh, chile," i say. "Cool," the taxi driver says. "My name is Max. What is yours?" "Oh, i'm Malory, and this is Jessie," I say. "¡Hola!" Jessie said. "Hola a ti, Jessie," Max says. We arrive at our hotel room at nine. "Goodnight," i say to Jessie. "Si," Jessie yawns.

In the morning, Jessie and i go to Qodoba, a nice place. i have fried egg with salad and Jessie has a hamburger. I think we ate well there. Best place i ever been to. Sad that we have to leave today, Jessie and i visit the space needle. It is amazing. Better than Chile. Later, we board the plane again. Then we arive in chile and drive to our house again. In my bed in chile, i dream about what i had seen in washington. The space needle. Qodoba...

I am glad i was there. I think Jessie liked it there, too.
The end
